Tyrese Gibson Talks Voltron Travel and how your traveling could help impact HBCU college students
What if I said that every time you booked a flight and traveled with your friends or family you could be helping a minority student pay for school !
That’s right , Grammy nominated actor and singer Tyrese Gibson announced that he has officially partnered with the Thurgood Marshall College fund , providing students with scholarships and thousands of educational opportunities.
Voltron Travel , LLC launched and created by Tyrese just three years ago is an 100 percent black owner Travel platform in partnership with Priceline .
The collaboration will directly be able to impact students of color, specifically attending an HBCU through offering scholarships to pay off tuition fees , “success packages” , school supplies and of course travel vouchers .
To head the initiative, Gibson has initially pledged $100,000 of Voltron Travel’s profits based on a percentage of net sales
